Flying back from Paris to Los Angeles.... connecting flight at Amsterdam airport. HUGE airport!!! So many gates... and they don't provide any shuttle so be prepared to \walk\ It took me almost 15 minutes to run/walk to the gate for my connecting flight!! What an exercise!! Also, even it is connecting flight, you still need to pass the immigration. That was a nightmare because soooooo many people were waiting in line!!! If you connecting flight is within 30 minutes, approach the airport staffs and show them your boarding pass. They will guide you to an express line (shorter line... but still have to wait).

Aeropuerto Internacional de Ámsterdam-Schiphol (en neerlandés, Luchthaven Schiphol, /ˈlʏxtˌɦaːvə(n) ˈsxɪpɦɔl/) (IATA: AMS, ICAO: EHAM) es el aeropuerto de Ámsterdam, el principal aeropuerto de Países Bajos. El aeropuerto está ubicado a 15 km de la ciudad. En 2009 viajaron más de 51 millones de pasajeros por Schiphol, lo que le convierte en el quinto aeropuerto de Europa y en el decimocuarto del mundo. Sin embargo en cuanto a pasajeros que viajaron en vuelos internacionales en 2009, es el tercer aeropuerto del mundo. Cabe destacar que la cantidad de vuelos operados por compañías de bajo costo es muy pequeña, y que más del 40% de todos los pasajeros viajan en vuelos intercontinentales, mayoritariamente a Estados Unidos, Canadá y Asia. Este porcentaje y el elevado número de pasajeros convierten a Schiphol en uno de los principales aeropuertos del mundo en cuanto a conexiones

Ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam personeel, staan ook open voor een gezellig praatje. Ben erg goed geholpen met het maken van de juiste papierkeuze, iets wat ik vaak lastig vind om zelf uit te komen. Ook het verzenden van een pakketje liep gesmeerd. De winkel heeft een erg duidelijke en eenigsinds speelse informele indeling dat ervaar ik als een pluspunt. Al met al dus een aanrader als u een goede servicegerichte kantoor vakhandel zoekt .

het is een geweldig vliegveld dat elke dag werkt aan verbeteringen. het is leuk als toerist die daar landt om Nederland te bezichtigden maar ook voor Nederlanders die even op het panoramadak willen kijken naar de vliegtuigen. er zijn overal bezienswaardigheden, het enorme station onder Schiphol is ook heel erg mooi en handig.
