Restaurant de Bokkedoorns, op een steenworp afstand van Haarlem en Amsterdam, bevindt zich midden in een uniek duingebied met een wijds uitzicht over een betoverend duinmeer.   Eigenaar Pascal Beeren en zijn team bedrijven dagelijkse culinaire topsport. De jonge en dynamische brigades, aangevoerd door chef-kok Roy Eijkelkamp en meestergastheer Peter Bruins, staan voor kennis van zaken, interesse en teamspirit.   In 1978 werd de Bokkedoorns bekroond met de eerste Michelinster en in 1991 met de tweede.     home

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff are excellent, very attentive and genuinely friendly. We had the tasting menu with the accompanying wine and it was fantastic! The crab was a particular highlight along with so many of the sauces accompanying every dish! They leave a small amount on the table and some bread if you would like to have more sauce! The wines were all very interesting and one of the best combinations I've had. As it was our anniversary (and perhaps because I was in a kilt and my wife in her wedding dress) we received a small gift from the kitchen.

De Bokkedoorns offers an unbelievable experience. The location is a delight as it is nestled in the dunes of the National park on the banks of a lake. Aside from the this the service food and experience is what you would expect from a 2star Michelin. All of the dishes drew their inspiration from the surround areas but were still very accessible. Of course it is expensive but if you want to enjoy a 3 hour dinner in a magnificent setting there is nowhere better in the area perhaps even The Netherlands....

The ambience, service and food were all excellent. The wine pairings were better than at other 2 Michelin star restaurants. All in all, no complaints and kudos to the new chef.
