We walked in to this divine pastry shop on a whim because at 930 on a Saturday morning there was hardly anything left on the shelves AND because there was a darling cut out sign outside indicating it was started in 1975— so they obviously know what they’re doing! We had been looking for a fresh strawberry tart for three days (2 previous soggy disasters) and it’s strawberry season so the berries are AMAZING. He had a large strawberry pie for sale and I asked him if he had a small one in the back. He said no- but if we would wait three minutes he could make them!!! It was so great to be accommodated!! Three minutes later he came out with two mini tarts which we paid for and brought outside to eat. OMG! The perfect crust. The perfect custard. The perfect strawberries and glaze. Very tantalizing. Every bite was divine!! Highly recommended for any visitors to the cathedral/area!!

Beste vlaai in Maastricht! Vooral de frambozenvlaai is aan te raden. Al het andere gebak overigens ook.
Heerlijke gebak. Elke dagverse vla ...taartjes. bonbons. Top.
