The guy seemed nice at first, told me people from Amsterdam came to buy their bikes with him because they were cheaper there...I baught 2 bikes, he gave me one lock for free as discount, regarding that I paid 430 for 2 old bikes not such a good deal. Then I found the same bike lock in a shop in Utrecht for half the price as his...bike had a flat tire immediately and when I came back to claim it he said he can repair it but I had to pay, since I couldn't prove it was flat from the beginning. I am really mad at the guy and heard from others now that he is known for his rip-off prices and bad quality.

Giving one star because there is no lower option. Horrible experience, bought two bikes at extortionate prices (new in Netherlands). He convinced us that the front wheel just needs to be pumped and it's good to go, we went back within minutes beacuse of the flat, apparently we had "geen guarantee" which wasn't mentioned at all during the purchase and because he is such a "nice businessman" he offered to take a look given we paid another insane amount for his services. It's not a bike shop but a con shop. Save your money and energy by not going in this shop!

Bought a bike here yesterday, second-hand, for 320 euro. Before I tried it out, the owner pumped up the front tyre. I bought it, took it home, and this morning the tyre was flat. I called him, and he said "what do you want me to do about it?" "I want you to fix it". "It was a second-hand bike, a trade-in, what do you expect?" "You sold me a broken bike". "Bring it in". I brought it in, a half-hour walk, and said "I'm sorry it didn't work out, I'd like my money back" "No. You're not getting your money back. I can repair it for half price". I had to leave the shop because I was very frustrated. I was sold a bike, in good faith, for 320 euro. the owner knew the tyre was flat, because he had to pump it up before I tried it. Now he expects me to pay for a repair? His reasoning and excuse was "You signed a receipt that says 'geen garantie of omruilen'". I would have thought that selling a bike that works is the way a bike shop makes its money. Before I left the shop, I said "So you're telling me that ProBike sells bikes that don't work?" "Yes". I won't ever go to this shop again; I personally find the owner to be a dishonest person.
