This is a Sculpture of a standing female figure who rips off his clothes in great despair. It has the text "never have what was taken from us, so bitter bitter loved" The text on the pedestal is from Ida Gerhardt's Dutch poem 'Het Carillon' It was built to remember those who have fallen during WW2.
