My experience with Nida ul Islam dates back to 2009, when they we're located in their former building: the old mosque at the Lekstraat in Den Helder. In 2009 I took shahaadah at their hands. Unfortunately a lot of brother who were regular visitors of the mosque back then, do not live here anymore. Two years ago they moved to a new location, a former schoolbuilding. In comparison to the former location it has become very beautiful. The first time I went there I thought I entered a mosque in some Arab country. The beautiful mihrab, minibar tens of masaahif (Quran books) and a whole lot of Islamic books in Arabic and Dutch was just something I only knew from mosques I saw on tv. As until this day I am a regular visitor of this mosque together with my children and I love this place and the people who come here for the sake of Allah.

Very good mosque. In March 2018 they've moved into this old school building which is now renovated into a beautiful mosque. Due to financial support from the muslim community throughout Europe the muslims in the city of Den Helder finally got the place they've been waiting for so long. This mosque is not only just a standard mosque for the daily prayers, but also serves as an Islamic center which serves the community in their daily affairs. All the sermons and lecturers are translated into Dutch by the imam himself.

Very good mosque upon the 'aqeedah of ahlus sunnah wal jamaa'ah. Everybody is treated with respect regardless of madhab or nationality.
