Wilhelmina is standing proudly on the shores of Noordwijk ... aptly on the beachside road named Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard. I believe the statue was initiated and maybe also paid for by the Oranje Hotel straight opposite the street. On the more southern Queen Astrid Boulevard, sadly there is no similar statue of that Monarch.

Beautiful beach side with lots of restaurants. Sadly the weather can turn within minutes and you can't see your own hand in front of you due to the fog.

De zeereep van Noord wijk is mooi als je richting zee kijkt, maar de bebouwing is afzichtelijk. Van protserig nepRomeins tot rreurige Sovjetflats, allemaal even lelijk.
