I worked with Star Housing in June-August of 2020. They were incredible and really went out of their way to help my husband and I find accommodation in Maastricht. We now have a lovely furnished apartment that allows us to keep our cat and has an incredibly kind landlord. If you are not yet in Maastricht and looking for an apartment before you arrive I highly recommend Star Housing. They worked with us and continued to preserver even when other apartments did not work out. Their whole team helped us as much as they could and ultimately eased our transition from America to Maastricht by finding us an incredible place to stay. I really cannot say how thankful and I happy I am that I worked with Star Housing. Other housing agencies in Maastricht were very rude to my husband and I, they were often totally unwilling to work with us simply based off my age and the fact I was coming to Maastricht to pursue my Masters degree. Star Housing treated us with incredible kindness and was the most professional out of all the agencies I contacted. We did pay a 300 euro fee for their work and services but this was 100% worth it considering the time and effort their staff put in to helping us. I should add that they did all the work to set up our bills/utilities and internet! This was an incredible help. I hope to update this review when the time comes to move out but overall, very positive experience.

Starhousing is the absolute worst. I dont even know where to start. They try to pull out every cent out of your pocket. Especially when you are a student. There were 1000 issues. From nearly no refund of the deposit to just not answering our e-mails if there were problems with the flat (reparations etc.). We even had to stay in the flat with a broken window for several months because they were just unable to fix the problem. On top of that, we contacted the caretaker several times, he never came for the arranged meetings and we sometimes had to schedule meeting 6-7 times until he actually managed to come (he was not able to fix most of the problems). They even made my parents pay an extra rent even though we were already out of the flat and took most of the deposit. Im just advising you not to go to starhousing if you are looking for a flat, especially if you are a student. The only reason I gave one star because there was one staff member who actually tried to help us, but when she was not there was no one who even cared. I now retrospectively add to my review after a very unprofessional phone call. A staff member of starhousing called me full of anger for my review, asking me to take it down/change it. Therefore, I was again annoyed and disappointed by starhousing, surely not taking down my review.
Very professional experience with Star Housing! Felt taken care of from the beginning and there qas always someone who was taking care of my questions. Uncomplicated handling of moving out and in. Would recommend and consult again, if needed.
We had a great experience with star housing, they were really helpful in finding us an apartment, the process was really smooth and the service was great!
