It has wonderful environment, the only campus based university in the Netherlands. But the study load and pressure that you have from the study doesn’t make you enjoying the beautiful environment

The professors did not provided with clear guidelines and international students are always discriminated everywhere. In classroom no one knows whats going on because no one is interested in the program. U cant really feel yourself like you are studying at university. University combines all unrelated subject into one study unit of 9.5 EC which doesn't make sense because in most research universities around the globe each subject is an independant. Lectures and Tutorials are waste of time because in this university exams are unrelated to your tutorials so there is no meaning to attend them. All bachelor is only and only self-study. So you will not benefit from the university.

The university is extremely inflexible. I was accepted last year but I had to defer due to personal reasons. I was told that deferring would not be a problem. But when I reapplied this year, they said I had to take a Beta Boswell test. I told them that I was accepted last year without needing to take a test, but they were completely inflexible. I do not recommend studying in Enschede. The Dutch in Enschede do not like outsiders and are very rude and aggressive towards English speakers. They look to take advantage and rip off international students. You have been warned! You will be treated poorly here. It is better to study in the West of the Netherlands or in a different country.

English programs for Bachelor degree are not well organized. Half of the teaching staff are not clear about what they are expecting from you. Assignments are fair and easy, but then they are almost useless compared to Exam’s difficulty. Many lecturers do not cover all the materials they are including! However, in terms of buildings and students environment.. it is not bad.
