I had the pleasure of meeting Michel Trompert during my time at the European Parliament when he gave a presentation on the building physics within cultural heritage. Our national monument had still the original windows when we bought it. Since it was a protected, we couldn’t change the facade. We wanted to improve the comfort, since the cold was not desirable and we wanted to save on the energy use. Now, after installation, we can carelessly enjoy our beautiful home in The Netherlands.
