Okay museum, but nothing really that left us impressed. I think it was a little bit chaotic with no notice signs through the whole house! They are offering an audio tour guide, but not easy to find the connection point to retrieve the info. I think it was worthless and did the whole tour with a plasticized information sheet in my hand I found somewhere in each room. Still a lot of room for improvement...
Very deep collection with many artifacts narrating the story of this once key city in the story of the Netherlands. Focuses on the changing face of maritime industry, especially in Zeeland. The audio guide is very helpful for English speakers as some of the tags are only in Dutch. Leave your big bag in the locker--they provide you with a token. More than you can cover in a couple of hours if you want to do a thorough examination. Tells many fascinating local stories.
This is a museum about maritime history. If you know very little about this, this might be a good start. Don't expect too much. It does have a great you view.
Very interesting and informative with a guide. Gives a good udea of Vlissingen's history.
Nice museum about the rich (maritime) history of Flushing, which was of great importance to the founding of the Netherlands. For history and/or maritime buffs certainly recommended.
