Upon arrival we asked for an individual room, but none were available. The receptionist asked us if we would like to just pay for the night and find something else for the rest of the stay, but we figured we would just stay there the whole trip and went ahead and paid everything in advance. When we got to the room, it was disgusting. And I cannot stress this enough -crammed bunk beds, barely natural light or space for moving, odor and dirt everywhere. My friend even found a pair of dirty socks under her clean pillow, a sweater and an empty plastic bottle on the bed. We decided we would not spend our trip there and went down to see if we could get a refund for the rest of the nights, completely aware that the first one would be non refundable. The clerk told us that once you make a payment you cannot refund it (???), which was completely not true (I work in the industry) and was quite rude about the fact that we did not want to spend the night there. When we told him the hotel we were going, he even had the nerve to say: "Really?? You are going there??" Like it could be any worse than that pig sty they are running there. I would not recommend this to anyone

The location of the hostel is great, staff was nice as well, while it wasn't clean, showers were always messy. It's as well quite claustrophobic, ceiling in the room isn't high enough for having bunk beds in it.

so first of all the staff and location of the hostel are great but there alot of things that are not great 1)there was no mini kitchen space or even a kettle to heat up water 2)at night it gets too noisy 3)after sunset a hanging outside the hostel means you're getting mugged or offered drugs 4) mu room was supposed to be an 8 bed dorm room, after checking in I was informed that I was going to stay in the 14 bed dorm which is a sardine can at best

A cool place to chill for a couple of days if you want a short city break in Amsterdam. I go around once a month and the guy from New Zealand on the front desk is really cool. They have a really good breakfast deal next door and you're in the centre of the RLD.

easy check-in, cheap price for a perfectly located hostel, good and clean beds and a big box with a lock on it to put all our stuff in, friendly staff and overall good experience there's an irish pub downstairs where you can have a drink and food on a discount if you overnight here i hav't been there but it looks like a fun place would def recommend

Really nice place in the LGBTQIA neighbourhood, in the very centre of Amsterdam, people were really nice and friendly. Kind of noisy, but I really don't mind at this price.
