During her combined studies of International Law and Crime in Utrecht (The Netherlands) the then new, alternative method of dispute resolution “Mediation” was introduced to the Dutch Law education. Due to the high success rate of this methodology and the humane approach possible, Kirsten decided to make this her profession. The first years of her career, Kirsten worked closely with the Courts of Justice in The Netherlands and became Netherlands’ top mediator with the most cases resolved year after year. Nowadays she still delivers with a resolve success rate of over 80%. Over time she extended her capabilities with various sorts of communication- and behavioural influence techniques (e.g. Moderation, Training and Individual and Group coaching) and has gained profound knowledge on Organizational Culture (The Hofstede Model) and the Insights Discovery ™ methodology. Kirsten professionalized, becoming a profiler by studying facial micro expressions, body language and use of voice; in other words: extensive profiling. Due to her professionalism, transparent communication skills and eye for personal needs during the process, 1for2 Social Innovation is hired by individuals, families, businesses and enterprises in The Netherlands as well abroad. Kirsten is vowed for her confidentiality, personal approach and proven, durable results. Kirsten is registered member of the MfN, the Dutch Mediator Institute as well as full certified mediator at the ADR Register. She is also an official Insights Discovery accredited coach.
