Made an appointment after feeling pain and being sensitive to cold and warm drinks in my mouth. They barely looked inside my mouth and said that \it was nothing\ and that I should just change my toothpaste (I paid 25 euros for that) 2 years later, I found out (through another dentist) that I had a cavity and that it is absolutely urgent for me to take it out as it's almost touching my nerve. A simple x ray was sufficient to figure that out but unfortunately, Amstel Dental didn't care do take the time to check it out. Do not recommend

I have been a patient for 3 years now, I had all kind of complex work done, had 2 different dentist, one implantologist. It is the only clinic where I feel safe and I feel that they know what they do. Latest technology and equipment and professional staff. Even after moving to the Hague I keep on going to Amstel Dental. Highly recommended. Keep up the amazing work! Best clinic ever!

I had a terrible experience with the dentist Chantal. (Background info: I am in the middle of a front tooth implant treatment so I am temporarily using a partial denture to fill the space. ) On our regular checkup session she suggested that she would renew the filling of my other front tooth right next to my missing tooth because of discoloration. Before that simple filling treatment I told her I was concerned that the partial denture would not fit after she renewed the filling. She said she would make it fit. She started with the treatment during which she was extremely rude and clumsy. She applied pressure on my implant treatment many times and I had to warn her many times as it was hurting. After the filling was renewed, guess what.. The partial denture didn’t fit. I was very frustrated because the worst happened even though I warned her before the treatment. Missing a front tooth would impact my social life drastically. She said they could make a new partial denture ASAP. After two times of taking impression , I have been waiting for 2 weeks and they still didn’t finish it. I am extremely disappointed as she caused me a lot of pain and discomfort for something not urgent at all. The non-urgent filling was actually supposed to be made just before the crown placement of implant, not 4 months early. It made me think that these dentists in this practice are instructed to come up with non urgent treatment to make money. I lost my trust and I will change my dental practice. I hope they treat their clients more nicely and remember they are working with humans.
I would highly recommend Amstel Dental. The orthodontist was able to provide an invisalign treatment that corrected my teeth in just 14 weeks. In comparison, a previous ortho said the treatment would 48 weeks and as a result it would much more expensive (almost double than what I paid in the end). The treatment at Amstel Dental saved me so much time, money and sanity. A few other things that made Amstel Dental Stand out: - Always had available times (no month long waiting times) - Very transparent with billing - Great communication & sending appointment reminders - Quick and to the point while maintaining quality - Friendly staff, make you feel comfortable
