It's not only that I don't recommend this place, but I'm also writing this as a warning to not get anywhere close to Aemstelgroep, for two reasons: 1. The most important one - I went there with my 2 year old son for his first checkup. The dentist tried to check him for about 10 seconds and then said you don't really take children under the age of 3 to checkups in the Netherlands, which I later discovered was a lie. The official recommendation is to take the child from the age of 1. I find it highly irresponsible to give such information that puts the child in risk. 2. They were dishonest about the charges - I went to one of their Hygienist. She asked me if I'd like an explanation about how to brush my teeth. I said that's not necessary since it's not my first time with a Hygienist. I explained I go every 6 months and that I've already gone through several instructions about how to brush my teeth. She insisted to give me the guidance, which I later discovered had cost me 25 Euros. I find it alarmingly dishonest since she knew I was new to the country and wouldn't have know this service will cost me money (they don't charge for this where I come from), plus she pushed this service on me without me asking for it. In short, I strongly advise to stay away from this place.

I have been going here for 4-5 years with my family. They have been the best Dentists we've had in Holland. The only issue is sometimes the wait time can be very long, around 30-40 minutes. The service is very professional.

GREED and DISRESPECT - that's what's driving these people. If they are late with their appointments you will be sitting in the waiting room, 30 minutes, 40 minutes and all they give is a lame excuse. But if the client is 5 minutes late - they will cancel the appointment and will still bill you for the time. Later, if you don't pay that bill - the one for the service which you have never received - they even have insolence to threaten you with 40 euro incasso costs. Perfectly shows their love for the client, or wait - their love for free money. Strongly advise - look for another dentist - the one who treats you appropriately and with respect for your time too. P. S. I USUALLY HAVE PATIENCE AND GIVE PEOPLE CHANCE TO SHOW THE BETTER SIDE OF THEIR PERSONALITY. THIS IS A SEVERAL TIMES IN A ROW SITUATION.

I had the least painful teeth cleaning experience of my life with Melissa today, she was very professional and kind. I am normally in a lot of pain with bleeding gums when my teeth get cleaned, but she listened to my concerns beforehand and was very gentle. She also properly taught me how to use interdental sticks to avoid future painful experiences when getting my teeth cleaned.

Warm welcoming already at reception followed by great dentists, specialists and hygienist. They all take time for you and do they work precisely and very professional. And the great thing is that you can arrange all there(from implants,kronen,prosthesis ect.). Highly recommended!
