My experience with this cat shelter is really disappointing... I found a lost cat in the street i picked him up at my place for two days until i got the chance to bring him to the vet to get his xip scanned to find out whether he had an owner.When i left him in the vet i was told that he had owner and that the owner will come to pick him up. If i knew that he was abandoned and he would end up in a cat shelter i wouldn’t ever have left him at the vet. To my surprise, two days after leaving him at the vet, where his owner should have picked him up i was contacted by cat shelter. They contacted me because they wanted to know more about how he was found. Since then i have been following him from cat shelter to cat shelter trying to adopt him from the very first moment that i knew that he was abandoned. This cat shelter doesn’t want to let me adopt the cat because i live in the same area of the previous owner. To me it seems that they care more about some stupid rules that they have made up that the cat himself or the person. Really really disappointing experience and awful management of the adoption situation. My recomendation, doesn’t let any cat go into the system because they are heartless...

Helaas heb ik geen contact kunnen leggen met dierentehuis Amstelveen,omdat het asiel tijdelijk gesloten is. Wel kan ik al melden dat er spraken is voor het opnieuw openen van het dierentehuis (asiel) in Amstelveen....... Zodra ik u kan informeren ver het wanneer ,en of de eventuele locatie,zal ik dit per direct melden middels de reviews.
Wij zijn ontzettend goed en zorgzaam geholpen, door Mindy wat een liefde voor dieren heeft zij onze lieve bange poepie Grey, voor altijd bij ons
kortaf ,wij zijn gesloten,via internet slecht bereikbaar
