Great coffee and proper tiramisu! I have to edit this review after our local pizza showdown last night: the tiramisu I had in house was much better than the to go version. The pizza was rather unimpressive; it had decent cheese and toppings, but the crust and sauce left a fair bit to be desired.

Very good food and service.
What a nice surprise this little italian restaurant was!! It's very small with no more than 6 tables. Everything is made by the italian owners and it was all delicious. I went there 2 times and tried the Pesto and the Lasagne. Both had me licking my fingers. My friend had the special of the day which was pasta(can't remember the name) with some kind of ragu sauce with wine. It was heavenly!! Also we tried a diavola pizza and that was surely in my 5 favourite italian pizzas I've tried. (and I eat a lot of pizza) The tiramisu was good but not 5stars like all the rest, maybe 4 stars. The staff were very friendly and relaxed in an Italian (I guess) kind of way which I liked. Don't expect something very formal. They also gave take-away. I would bet that in a year from now finding a table to eat at Al Ninen won't be very easy!
Most authentic Italian experience you can get outside of Italy. They sell pasta and dessert in the restaurant, and cheese and meat in the deli along with pasta and sauce to take home. Absolutely incredible, and extremely affordable.
Delicious, the meat lasagna was amazing. The pasta sheets were so light ànd loaded with meat.
Best Italian food in Amsterdam. Exquisite products. Always a great time. Keep it secret!
