Tasty breakfast - good start of a day. But there is no much space everywhere, in halls or kitchen. That's enough for one peoples, and not enough for others. If you afraid walking 5 minutes up to you floor through steep narrow staircase - be sure that you've booked room on a zero-first floor or in another hostel:) Finally, it's a good place to spent nights in Amsterdam. But don't forget, the main visitors of cheaper hostels are Arabian Junkees.

Baddest hostel ever stayed in. Room was really small and hot all the time, impossible to sleep or enjoy the time there, the parks around are nice

Beware: Private twin room is actually a room with a three level bunk bed. Not really suitable for a couple. Toilets are miniature. The receptionist was nice, and the rooms fairly clean. Location is probably the main reason to sleep here.

In this hostel you can not even sleep because of the noises made not only by the people from the room but by the people from the reception also. The old man from reception is monitoring the guests every time on the screen and also in the Kitchen is looking to the guests so many times. Asking so manny questions to guests about their life and starting conversations when is nkt really the moment because he was bored. Beds are from iron and are verry old.. Bathroom is enough..is good that is Clean everytime and kitchen also enough.should be good a table with some chairs outside ...this way we are not supose to eat in reception closer to the old guy wich people says he is manager. Not confortable

Okay prices, beds very tight, bathrooms not suitable for obese people. Some staff were very unfriendly and are monitoring the guests through CCTV everywhere. No room to chill/hang out. Kitchen consists of kettle and a microwave.

I payed 50eu a night to sleep on a 12 people bed room, with an extremely small bed, no A/C (went in July so it was super hot), and the bathroom was something out of a hobbit fairy tail. The shower and toilet shared a 1.5x2m space, so the wc area was always wet. Apart from that, the cleanness was awful, you could see the filth in the corners of the room. I’ll add some pics at the end. The “free” breakfast was tea, coffee, and bread (that you couldn’t toast because there was no toaster) with jam, peanut butter and butter. There are only two good things I would say about the hostel. First: the location. It is very close to the center. Second: there was a polish guy working ON HIS OWN at the mornings who struggled to do everything the hostel needed, and still was friendly. The rest of the staff were not friendly at all. All in all, I strongly recommend to stay away from that place. It really gave me the impression they don’t give a f*ck about their guests. I mean, in the backyard there isn’t even a single chair or stool to sit on! I did the math and came to the conclusion that you’ll be living with approximately 80-120 people sharing 15 hobbit-like bathrooms. The closeness to the center isn’t worth the money. Amsterdam is really small, so it’s better to go a little further to a nicer place, and rent a bike with the money you are saving. This place was the ONLY bad experience I had in my entire trip to Amsterdam.
