the people was so nice but the bed was so small in a private room.. and the bed are not done. otherwise the kitchen is good and also their has a quite cat it wasn't a problem for us... We was late 1 hour, we lost 10 eur, when you make your check out you can use the kitchen and wait until the time of your fly..

Me and my felaz spent 2 nights there. Staff is super friendly and helpful, which makes this hotel pretty cozy. I am definitely taking this hotel again next time in Amsterdam.

I’ve stayed for 3 nights here, and i totally don’t recommend. First problem was by the reception, he will try to steal money from you in any way possible, he made us pay alot more the we should’ve. He will try to calculate it with you but don’t be fooled. Plus he asked 10 euro each in order to be in the same room, and we were 8 persons or he’ll just separate us. The rooms are so narrow and its 3 beds over each other. The only positive thing is the clean bathroom. I absolutely don’t recommend and this will be my last time staying here.

Where to start. First of the price at booking and the price at check in. 34 euro ?? Extra tax and daily charges. No mention when booking. Cleaning. What cleaning. 4 days no toilet paper in toilet and not cleaned properly throughout my whole stay. Other guest are not traveling just living and working in Amsterdam and use this place like a homeless shelter. The manager is completely unacceptable. When voicing my concerns he clearly is a no ducks given guy. Shocking attitude and clearly in need of some customer service classes. I highly recommend any other hostel in Amsterdam.

Nice view. Good location. Fast wifi. Breakfast included. Minuses: high stairs, very small bathroom.

This hotel is run in a house with no lift at all. So if you are thinking to drop in here with few luggages then be prepared to pick them all up the ancient staircase with very less space to move around. Rooms are clean. They do have a pantry in their basement which is well stocked but, needs little cleanliness.

First, I will say that the receptionist Andres was very kind, friendly, patient, and helpful. Next, the hostel is in a good area. Maybe 20 minutes walk from City Center and 20 minutes walk from Europaplien. Honestly, kudos to the hostel for having nutella, jam, and peanut butter as most places don't offer peanut butter. The stairs to the rooms are incredibly steep! There aren't enough power outlets near beds so people are waking you up in the middle of the night asking you to put their charger in the outlet. The bedroom (32) was ridiculously hot and the person nearest the window didn't want to open it because he had all of his belongings sitting on the window sill. The bottom bunk (of 3) is on the floor so there is no place to store your bags. There aren't any lockers or even shelves in the room which would've been fine if there was space under the bed. Because there wasn't space anywhere, everyone's bags and belongings are just everywhere which is kind of dangerous. The middle bunk is actually the best bunk because, unless you have a long torso, you can actually sit up straight. The ensuite restroom is damp because of the shower which is also in there with no curtain or door separating it from the toilet. The toilet and sink are at an odd angle and very cramped together. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I also appreciate honest and transparent reviews. If I were to stay again, it'd be in a room with fewer people.
