Arkin is één van de grootste GGz-instellingen in Nederland. Cliënten kunnen hier terecht voor behandeling van al hun psychiatrische behandelingen. Ook bij verslavingsproblematiek kunnen mensen bij Arkin terecht. Jaarlijks worden bij Arkin ongeveer 3500 cliënten behandeld. Arkin heeft vijftig locaties in Amsterdam waar deze cliënten terecht kunnen, plus twaalf klinieken waar cliënten kortere of langere tijd verblijven. De verblijfsduur is afhankelijk van fase waarin de ziekte zich bevindt. Bij Arkin werken circa 400 mensen. Dit is inclusief de collega’s van Roads, het merk dat dagbesteding biedt aan (ex)cliënten. De jaaromzet is circa 200 miljoen euro. Arkin bestaat sinds 2008 (fusie JellinekMentrum en AMC de Meren). De zorg wordt aangeboden onder acht servicemerken: Mentrum, PuntP, Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam, Inforsa, Novarum, Jellinek, NPI en Roads.

I had high hopes that Arkin would have been a change to all the previous (big company) therapists I have spoken to. But unfortunately it is not. Do not waste your time here. You are nothing but a number. I’ve adressed my needs (not that difficult) multiple times but it seems they just don’t listen and offer nothing or propose a plan that has nothing to do with my situation. My case was an emergency situation but 3 months further still excuses like ‘we have to discuss this internally’, and offered no support whatsoever. I am definitely cured from the idea that companies like Arkin actually offer help. They do not. In the meantime I have found an excellent individual therapist that is really listening and I feel much better.

My partner was having serious difficulty reaching out for help when he needed it, finally convinced him to see a specialist. Each \specialist\ kept forwarding him to another claiming they had too many clients or he needed another specific specialist until he had enough. After 5 tries with different people he gave up and was strengthened in his belief that going in for therapy was a waste of money and time. He was still charged generic therapy for the first person he spoke to too. You'd think these people would know how difficult it is for some people to seek out therapy without having to jump through hoops already, thanks to this I don't think I'll be able to convince him to try again Thanks for nothing, Arkin.

Horrible. I've been trying to contact my psychologist-to-be for 4 days and she's not picking up the phone. She calls me only very early in the morning and ofcourse I miss the calls after that it's impossible to reach her. She has my email but not sending me a single email. AVOID

Reageert niet op mijn emails over waarom mensen een mondkap op moeten op de werkvloer wegens uitzonderingen. Nu drijgt sociale isolement. 1 ster. Wees blij dat je een ster hebt

Arkin is goed in platspuiten, isoleren, alle verwarde mensen gelijk behandelen en assertieve clienten slechter. of helemaal niet. Ten onrechte adverteert dit Staatsbedrijf met een traject Individuele Plaatsing en Steun, althans zoek ik al jaren naar een bijbehorende medewerker
