With the corona measures in town you have to be creative to keep it going. Today we were lucky enough to witness how Batoni Khinkali is rocking it in these challenging time. Such a great food, worth a wait in line (if that happens under your visit). Definitely coming back ;)

Super authentic food. The restaurant setting is quite fancy which doesn't suit the 'streetfood' style starters. However, the main dishes are fancier and smaller portions, which suit the ambience in the restaurant. As my husband is veggie (and main dishes are mainly meat) we ended up ordering lots of starters and sides to share. Which were all super nice. The dumplings are to die for!
We had to wait in the queue for 1,5 hour to get the food to go, we specifically asked dishes to go, but the waiter brought them on the plate. We asked them to pack it, after what we saw her giving our food to the other people (unbelievable !!) and we had to wait for another half hour to get our food. And when we came in to pay and tell about our frustration, the cook was extremely rude and told us that they thought to give us food for free, but now since I was not nice to them they gave us discount for the cheapest item in the bill. Wow! I would pay for the food double price if it would be good at least. This is truly the worst Georgian place I’ve been to. I was in Georgia, this place has nothing to do with the cuisine. Shame!
Very nice place with great food and pleasant ambience! Grilled aubergines as a starter are amazing. Both khinkali and khachapuri are delicious. Would definitely recommend to accompany the meal with a glass of Georgian wine! Very friendly stuff.
A great experience! If you want to try something different and/or are curious about Georgian cuisine, this is the place! Delicious food, quiet and elegant place, friendly service. The wine was overpriced. I highly recommend this restaurant.
