I gave birth to my son here on 04/11/2020 and cannot recommend it enough! I arrived and was immediately taken to a wonderful clean and private room where they had the bath ready for me. The facilities were great, but I must make special mention to both Anne and Monique who were my nurses during and after my labour - they were so caring and helpful.

First to clarify that I did not use this place to give birth. I participated in the open doors afternoon together with my husband and we did not get a good impression. First of all, they ask to pay for visiting, it was supposed to be a tour but due to Covid-19 they are not providing this anymore. Instead, you get a short of prenatal course of 1.5 hours which we never were informed in advance about the change. For us was completely useless since we had our prenatal course done already. While we were taking part of this, I noticed the tendency of remarking that the best way to have a baby is just by a natural way with no medical delivery. Also praising and showcasing that Dutch way of labour is the best, which in my personal opinion I doubt about that. It really felt like a brainwash. During the break I approached the midwife to ask a few questions and her attitude didn’t really help to solve them.
Mijn zoontje is in Februari geboren in Beval centrum West. De kamer was prachtig en knus en we hadden de beschikking over een groot bad. Het personeel is enorm aardig en professioneel. Na de bevalling konden we in alle rust eten (inclusief beschuit met muisjes en champagne!) douchen en ons klaar maken voor de reis naar huis. Ze hadden beschikking over lachgas was mij erg heeft geholpen tegen het einde van de ontsluitingsfase. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen voor iedereen die wil bevallen met de knusheid van thuis maar de medische expertise om de hoek.
De beste en meest comfortabele plek in Amsterdam voor een poliklinische bevalling.
