We whad a blast during the (advanced) Indonesian cooking workshop we followed! We learned a lot about Indonesia and its culture, and of course about many ingredients used in traditional Indonesian kitchen. On top of all, the food was simple delicious! Moreover, you'll receive many great recipes after your workshop. A really fun day that is great value for money and comes highly recommended.

Highly recommended for those who are in love with Asian cuisine and culture. David is experienced and well-prepared, made the whole experience flawless. Bonus point is the many cultural stories that he is sharing during the course, so this way you get not only a cooking but a cultural session as well. One remark: the course is not for kitchen dummies, sign up only if you have basic cooking skills. If you do, you will have a great experience, I guarantee!

Had a lovely morning cooking Indonesian food with David and others (they were in Holland, us in the USA.) Easy to follow and able to make adjustments for us when we had slightly different ingredients. Can’t wait to take more English-language courses! David lent not only culinary insight, but cultural perspectives as well (that were unfamiliar and we don’t have a Dutch-Indonesian culture here in our little corner of the USA.)

David's workshop was amazing! The food, the story, the atmosphere during the cooking. I was a lot of fun to do with few friends. We always wanted to learn about Indonesian cuisine and David took the time to explained the history, every meal important ingredients and compose a chef menu that we were so proud to cook! Fun, Educational, and Tasty! We had a great time with David learning about his background, testing our skills at cooking Indonesian food, and enjoying the fruits of our labor! The right mix of learning and having fun - David's knowledge of Indonesian food, culture, and history is impressive. Everything was well prepped to make the cooking as easy as possible and so that we could enjoy the best parts of the experience. Not to mention the meal we made was delicious! I highly recommend David's workshops.
