Restaurant De Kas features a healthy menu inspired by Dutch cuisine. Having its own greenhouse, all of its dishes are crafted using fresh ingredients which includes fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Restaurant De Kas is open for both lunch and dinner. Its stylish menu features contemporary dishes such as halibut, white asparagus soup and salmon with beets and turnips.

Spacious with ample seating, Restaurant De Kas is a great place for celebrations or group dining. Its contemporary décor showcases hand blown glass lights, industrial ceilings, hardwood tables and swivel chairs. Located near a park, it also provides picturesque views of the outdoors, a garden and water pool. Outdoor seating is also available.

My new favorite restaurant in Amsterdam! It prides itself on serving creative and absolutely delicious food mostly grown on site or at their farm, complemented by some meat and seafood sourced sustainably. But at the same time, they have no issue to cater for vegetarians or any other requests. The menu is changed every 1-2 weeks, so you get the produce that is always at its best season. The restaurant itself is a converted conservatory, so it feels airy and spacious, is beautifully designed and you at able to see their own produce. You also get extremely attentive service, that is friendly, efficient and can provide great recommendations. We spent nearly 4 hours there, had 6 courses and numerous small appetizers at the beginning and throughout. So even if 5 course dinner starts at 60 eur, I feel you get extremely good value for what you get. I believe in many ways you get better experience than many much more expensive and renowned restaurants in Amsterdam. I can't wait to be back again very soon!

Part greenhouse, part farm, part casually fancy restaurant De Kas can be found in a quieter part of Amsterdam. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the space quite beautiful, but the service and final dishes don't seem to live up to other parts of the experience. At times the concept and story behind the food seem to outweigh the actual end result, leading to an enjoyable if not necessarily exciting meal.

Six stars !!!!!! Service, service, service :) The food, atmosphere and service at a high level! The waiters are well versed in the menu. You can see that the staff enjoys working at the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening:)

The location is amazing and inside a renovated green house. They use all locally sourced products many coming from their own garden. The food was fantastic, it is chefs menu of 3 or 4 courses. All of which were fascinating and different. I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys great food and good atmosphere.

Fantastic restaurant in a spectacular location. A culinary experience and must for ambitious gourmets. Each dish is tasteful and prepared with a keen eye for details. Service is very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Wish it would be closer to home!
