The vegetarian meal (the vegetable stew baked potato) were extremely good and so satisfying. The baked potato was so creamy and amazing - even before the sauce was added. My husband had the steak and the snails - which he enjoyed as well.

Excellent lobster soup, even more excellent spare ribs. Also you can order coffee with different types of liquor, it's pretty good but quite expensive. The service is fine, but nothing special.
Visited here a few months ago as we had previously visited and it was excellent. Unfortunately this was not the case the second time. Our waitress was rude and our food was forgotten. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for our steaks as everyone around us was served. It ruined the evening and we won't be returning. Such a shame as it was amazing the first time and we had very high hopes. The food was lovely, just not worth it.
The food was delicious, spare ribs - the best I have ever tried. The atmosphere was really cozy, the music not annoying at all as is often the case in other places. But a small remark: it would be great if the staff could tell more about the kinds of coffee (what etc implies)
We had four dinner reservations for our short stay in Amsterdam. Each was chosen based on menu, reviews and location (walking distance from our hotel). Firstly, the service was the worst we experienced throughout our time in Amsterdam. Slow and unfriendly. It’s the only time we had that experience. They were out of ginger beer, so the two cocktails I wanted were not available. The food itself was just so so. That said, the ribs were excellent. The fillet, recommended by the waitress, was nothing special. Should have had the t-bone.
