I’ve rented car in Amsterdam for over a year now and try to compare prices among the rental car companies. The Europcar on Overtoom has always been competitive and the manager and staff friendly and have worked with me to get the car I wanted or needed. I highly recommend this company.

Watch out for parking fee's! They do not tell you in advance that if you return the car outside opening hours you have to pay the parking which is 6 euro per hour even on Sunday until 24:00. Furthermore van's are relatively expensive compare to other car rentals, unfortunately the others ones were not open in corona crisis on sunday. Besides that van was fine and staff was friendly.

We have used several car rental companies over the years, and always dread when it comes to the hidden/extra costs part. But with Europcar, there was none of that at all - they simply asked us if we needed anything more, which we declined and that was it! We got a free upgrade and the whole process took less time than it took us putting our suitcases in the car boot! We will be using Europcar again for our next trip and recommend them 100%.

Car was awful. Nasty plastic smell in salon and bad washed outside. Instead of small Toyota, they gave you long awful Ford wich you couldn't so easily park anywhere. Same class, really? You should find a parking lot and pay 6/hour if you return car not in a working time (office work only till 18.00). Not convinient at all.
