We took our poodle Bo, 7 months old, to trim his hair at the Hondentrimsalon Amsterdam for the first time in his life. His hair was very long, with many nods. We were looking for a very natural cut, something soft and gentle. Unfortunately for our surprise after the hair cut Bo looked like a typical hair groomed poodle, way different than the pictures we have provided as a reference. Though I understand that his case was difficult, I would have appreciated more communication before trimming Bo that much. Other than that, the contact was super friendly and we really appreciated how good was the care with our dog.

I take my Maltipoo pup to Hondentrimsalon on a regular basis and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Louisa does a fantastic job grooming my pup and makes me and him feel comfortable! He comes away looking fantastic every single time, and she keeps all of our requests in mind. She comes highly recommended and you can tell she has a lot of love for the dogs she grooms. Thank you!
I first found the Hondentrimsalon Amsterdam when the two Bichon Frise I was caring for needed grooming and I was super impressed with the results. When it was time for Maggie and Levi to have a wash and nail trim I knew I wanted to try Louisa and her salon for myself. The whole experience is just First Class and I could sense the real love for the dogs from Louisa. From the moment I requested a booking to the moment I returned to pick up the little ones everything was communicated brilliantly. Top marks too for the photo that was sent over to show how Maggie and Levi were getting on. It's these little details that make all the difference. The salon is so easy to get to, a short walk from the number 2 tram. Maggie and Levi left the salon looking and smelling like movie stars! I know I will only be recommending Louisa and her salon to everyone from now on.
