After a long long time my craving for good authentic North Indian food was satisfied. Delicious tikkas and mouth watering lassi. The service was super fast, maybe because we went on a weekday for lunch. But the food was so delicious that we took a parcel for dinner also. Ms. Mamta was very sweet and served us everything with a smile. Our special compliments to the chef and we 100% recommend this place to anyone searching for actual Indian cuisine in the Netherlands.

Most authentic Indian food that I’ve had outside India. Most Indian restaurants offer just the toned down version of Indian food. This restaurant made me feel I’m eating in India. Tandoori and the curries were perfect and the portion sizes were generous. The service was quick and the waiting staff was friendly. This restaurant would always be one of the places I would definitely go to whenever I’m in Amsterdam.

Food was delicious, or ‘heerlijk’. Very authentic - confirmed by my Indian friend. Served by Mala, a beautiful young Nepalese woman. We had a nice chat, may come back and visit her soon..

Frankly, one of the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Amsterdam. We ordered some food for my birthday and it was terrific. The chefs prepared a surprise menu which truly was delicious. Besides, very kind staff which welcomed us well. We would definitely recommend to pay Swagat a visit.

This is coming from true Indian food worshipers! Absolutely loved this place. We had samosas, 3 different curries and cheese naan and peshwari naan and every single dish was amazing and tasted authentic. The lady serving us was really lovely and helpful. Will definitely come back when in Amsterdam
