I wish I could recommend L’Étoile, because there is a lot to like. Unfortunately, my experience purchasing an item from them online was deeply disappointing. I would therefore only recommend buying anything in store, so you have the opportunity to inspect it carefully in person. The positives: broad selection of goods, responsive customer service, and the possibility to pay in instalments. The negative: the item I purchased, based on photos and video I received did not at all match the description. Yes, items are vintage and that is actually part of the charm — no one should expect things to be in pristine condition. However, if there are significant defects, in this case peeling leather and an amateurish repair job consisting of having coloured the underlying layer to camouflage that, this should be pointed out up front and images of the defect in good sight should be shared. If you don’t do that, you are essentially misleading your customers. Upon receiving the disappointing item, I could return it, but had to pay full costs for doing so. Given that I never would have purchased the item had L’Étoile been fully transparent about its condition, I do not consider that fair. However, when pointing this out, I received rather crabby replies (though I think the mailbox is handled by different people as the tone between messages varied greatly) and no offer to even take on part of the expense which, again, was entirely the result of misrepresentation on L’Étoile’s end. Instead, I was offered “a discount” if I ever shopped with them again. Based on this experience, I won’t and I would not feel comfortable recommending anyone else to do so, at least online. There are many different, excellent parties offering preloved luxury goods — no reason to shop here. Fortunately, the refund was processed quickly so I could go elsewhere for an item in proper condition.

The vintage collections of this store were amazing!. I purchased my vintage LV Speedy 25 and I am very happy with my purchase. The bag conditions are just like in the photos and with reasonable price. You can ask for more details pictures for sure. The staffs are very friendly and give fast responses.
Such beautiful items. I've bought from them a few times. Very fast delivery and the items are in beautiful condition, just as shown in the pictures. The women who work here are very kind and helpful as well. They are always willing to send you more pictures of an item or tell you more about it. I would definitely recommend others to go here for their vintage luxury purchases.
Seriously the best second hand store in the city!!! I am very happy with my both purchases at this store and the amazing service. To give you and example, I had an issue with a bag few weeks after the purchase, they just get the bag back and will repair the handles without charge. Not lots of second hand luxury store are doing that great level of service. Furthermore the lady was very friendly and took time to explain me the options. I highly recommend :)
I’m in love with bags but especially these vintage bags. When I came across this Dior bag I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I was very well helped through insta dm. This is certainly not my last purchase
