I read about this bakery in one of Buzz Feed's articles in which it was selected as one of the best spots to try the traditional \stroopwaffel\ in Amsterdam. The owner suggested me to try the typical honey-stuffed king size wafer sandwich, so gooey yet so tasty. I liked it so much i decided to take some more to bring home in Italy. I would definitely come back to try other pastries.

Being run by the 5th generation of the family, their traditional, artisan, homemade stroopwafels, croissants and cakes taste like they were baked in grandma's oven. There is no comparison in taste with store bought!! Their service is positive, friendly, engaging in conversation and attentive. While their bakery is a small little corner shop with limited capacity, it does have a few seats that allow you to admire the early 20th century architecture and Dutch design of the bakery.... And there are plenty of views of the canal to enjoy while having coffee and cake. My recommendation is to try the gooseberry pie. It is fresh, sweet and sour with a crispy bottom. And of course you can't miss out on their famous Stroopwafels. They have a traditional stroopwafel filled with honey and one based on a traditional The Hague sweet called 'Haagse hopjes'

My go-to place for freshly baked stroopwafels. The service is very friendly as well. Without a doubt, the best stroopwafels in Amsterdam!
