Leatherlands is my absolute go-to for all leather goods. I had the pleasure of taking one of Karel's workshops and got to craft my own wallet. I also ordered a watch strap and mousepad. Both were made-to-order and Karel was responsive throughout the entire process. He really takes care of his customers and his crafts. If you're looking for a truly unique experience in Amsterdam or have an idea for something you'd like, Leatherlands is the way to go!
I didn’t get the chance to join one of his workshop due to timings, but I visited Carlos’ studio last minute and I was lucky that he was there on a weekend. I decided to buy his leather starter kit and a piece of leather so I can craft something myself at home. Carlos was very helpful in explaining all steps on how to use the hand tools. I can see he’s a great teacher and his passion in leather craft is very inspiring. For all who is looking to learn leather craft or would like to have some high quality, handmade leather products, I highly recommend Leatherlands. You won’t regret it!! If you’re looking for some new creative experience: that’s the place where you need to go! Leathercraft is super interesting, enjoyable and even relaxing. Especially when someone like Karel helps with every step of the work. Karel is super kind, helpful and nice. It’s great when someone inspires you with such a passion for these things! Moreover, you always can buy some tools to create something by yourself. :)
