A phantastic way of promoting science! I have been here before, and will try to come back next time when I am in Holland. These pictures date from my 2015 visit. Highly recommended!

Had so much fun here with my son a few year's back! Highly interactive, and the design of the building itself was an intriguing display. Staff was lovely. We were entertained for several hours. Def recommend.

Great museum. The bulding has a stunning modern architecture. The skewed roof is covered with flower fields. There also is a lot of scientific toys - grab rails, cranks, wheels, etc. You can play with these free of charge.

We have always heard great things about this museum and its interactive nature, so we finally decided to check it out and I can honestly say it was amazing. There was a great balance of education, exploration and fun and things to do for all ages, however, I must say it's a bit embarrassing when adults are holding up queues of children to play on every exhibition! This is very much a kid-centric place and so it should be! We enjoyed the lab experiments which highlighted the importance of using sunscreen and the puzzles dotted throughout certainly piqued my child's interest. For such a hands on venue, it was great to see the amount of hand sanitizing stations available to us and they made hand cleaning a feature of the exhibit! Pandemic or not, I'm glad to see children being more hygienic! We booked tickets online on the day and we arrived 20 minutes early, they were not busy and therefore we didn't want to queue. I would dread to go there on a busy day as I can imagine queuing for every exhibit to be rather tedious. We did queue for a couple of exhibits, but it wasn't overly time consuming. My son had a lot of fun and used every second of our 2 hour slot, he probably could have stayed another 2 hours but we were satisfied with the amount of time to explore! There were clear markings on the floor to guide us in, around and out which aided the social distancing measures. The cafe and toilets were open and clean. Overall it was a great day out in a lovely location!
