This must be one of the most unique movie theatres I have been inside recently. I would recommend going for a movie just to have a walk around this building. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to see it when there was no Covid, but I’m assuming the seating areas and serving places must have been a great experience. The vibe is so retro in some places and almost cathedral like in other places. Beautiful how Pathe has maintained this building. The theatres are relatively smaller than what I’m used to. But the chairs were double in the screen I was watching in and the chairs were really comfortable. The sound quality was clear and had a nice surround feel without making you go deaf. A really great experience at Pathe, I will certainly be back to try it once it’s working at 100% Highly recommended. But just make sure you show up a little early so you get a chance to walk around the building and check out the gorgeous interiors.

The most surreal and beautiful cinema I have ever been to! It is like entering a psychodelic space mothership or a mouth of a giant alien! the interior is well worth seeing especially for fans of artdeco. There are original wallpapers, woodwork and lights bringing an artistic and flamboyant atmosphere of that times. I will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous place, absolutely amazing it's surreal what you can do if you want something done without any limits. Very Polish-Jew attitude which I absolutely love in this guy. Really recommend to visit. There are tours on the week days for 10 starting from 10am. The movie tickets ain't expensive neither.

Best movie experience we've ever had. Clean, clear, fantastically decorated. Come on a weekday.

One of my top 5⃣ things to see in Amsterdam! We watched a movie here and what an amazing theatre, dating back to 1921, you'll feel you've been transported back in time. After the film we explored a bit and it felt like a movie set for 'The Shining' movie. Highly recommend a visit.
