Appalling service. I came here with my boyfriend when we first landed in Amsterdam. It was around 9pm and we were tired and hungry. The waitress was engaged in a conversation with someone she obviously knew personally and ignored us for 10-15 minutes (that should have been our cue to leave!) When she came to get us drinks, she didn't leave time for me to ask for what I wanted before she rushed off in a huff. So when she finally came back to our table I decided to take the initiative to order our food as well, to save us from waiting until she was ready again. She exploded at me - shouting and waving her arms in front of the whole restaurant. I was so shocked to be literally yelled at in front of a whole restaurant for ordering my food, and being nothing more than polite. That is NOT what people go out for dinner for. Absolutely disgusting service which ruined an otherwise nice place.

Very mixed feelings about the place. The food is great, and one of the few places in Amsterdam where one can get nice Vietnamese food. Shame the service and sympathy does not come to the same standard - they don't serve you tap water when you cycled half Amsterdam to come here, etc. So, come if you really have an urge, otherwise, move on.
Nice staff, broth is not the best but good price.
absolute Horror. If you like meat that has the consistency of chewing gum go there if not ditch that place !!! not authentic
It was okayish, but there are better places in the city. Broth not too flavorful and not my preferred type of noodles
Delicious amazing Vietnamese food at a good price, however, the service may be lower during peak home delivery times.
Great food, but the place is quite small
Is it so good you would slap your mamma? No. That said my mama would probably slap me if she knew what I paid for eating here when I could have the real thing for free if I just visited her more. Here's the thing: my expectations were not that high and it exceeded that. The egg rolls were freshly fried and good even if I had never seen them in a cigar shape/size before. Just missing some minced seaweed, carrots and daikon to give a fuller taste. Had never seen the sweet and sauce as the dipping sauce. It seems to be the thing here though. Another horrible American food invention. The pho was okay. The broth lacked the star anise to give it the proper aroma and roasted ginger to deepen the flavor. It was freezing outside and the pho hit the spot. Does it compare to what you would find at am average pho shop in LA, San Jose or NY? No. Is it the worst I've had while traveling overseas? No, had much worse in Thailand surprisingly. Geographic proximity to the pho motherland does not insure a good bowl of pho.
