A nice p&r located in a very convenient location with easy access to public transport (tram, train, bus, metro within 7 minutes walking distance). To use park and ride facilities there are a few tips you have to consider. If you do it correctly you can park your car and visit Amsterdam for a day just for 1 Euro. It is very easy and straightforward. Here is how: 1. P & R is only for weekend. 2. Get the the parking ticket at the entrance (like any other parking it will open the gate after you grab the ticket). 3. Park your car and find the blue ticket and Pay machine. 4. Choose the language and present your parking ticket. 5. Buy public transportation ticket. (You can use it in metro tram and bus). More ticket you buy cheaper it will be (1p 5, 3p 6.5 for return ticket). 5. Don’t forget to check in and check out with your ticket and DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR TICKET. 6. When you come back go to the blue machine and insert the parking ticket. It will show you a big amount to pay but no worries it also clearly shows you in which sensor you have to present the public transport ticket. After you do it the price will reduce to 1. GOOD LUCK.

Nice place for cheap parking in Amsterdam. The P&R does require you to buy a public transport machine in the garage. So you park you car, put you card in the dedicated P&R machine and buy a public transport ticket for the number of people (Machine is super slow so be patient). Once you get back you use the same machine again to pay for the parking and you will need the public transport ticket.
Its a great idea PR parking if you need to park you car for a day or more. Safe! Cheap! Working easy. VUmc is one of them and only 20 minutes by tram from Reiks Museum...
Easy to find, well maintained car park with parking and park&ride instructions in English.
As parkings go, this one is the cleanest I've seen. We chose it because of the city's Park and Go scheme (using city transport and parking space cheaply). Very efficient/no staff.
