The Q-Factory is one of the biggest music centers in Europe and offers musicians, actors and dancers all kinds of opportunities to rehearse, perform and record. On the ground floor you will find a nice cafe, terrace and restaurant and on the third and fourth floor the Q-Factory Hotel supplies lodging for the thousands of tourists that visit this neighborhood. You can also visit concerts and other events in the main concert hall and small hall on the first floor. All facilities are modern and well equipped. I attended the Radio Noordholland -NHradio- \Dank je wel\ -thank you so much- event organized by this local and immensely popular radio station. The event was an benefit for citizens that excelled in community services. A great number of sponsors like Sacha Roozemond of \Sterren van de hemel\ catering supplied an exquisite dinner. the complete staff of Radio Noordholland acted as waiters while one of my favorite djays,Jeanne Kooijmans and a huge lineup of artists gave a show that was a unique experience for the attendants. Great raw decor. I've got good stay in hotel. Room was small but cozy and clean with good bathroom and all needed facilities. Perfect stay if someone plan to go to concert as well. Huge space with good sound system.
My room was infested with bed bugs. I discovered it quickly but needed to spend an hour disinfecting my clothes. Staff were very apologetic and gave me a room 'upgrade' which was exactly like the other tiny cell where the two mattresses were awkwardly put together, otherwise completely the same. Took them three days before they fumigated my old room. Food sucks. Wifi sucks. Hotel room door didn't lock properly. Bathroom smells moldy. Don't waste your time.
Amazing place,where you can perform and rehearse as well,very good instruments and nice stuff.They are always here for you .Its like an iceland of art and creativity.I love this place!
