Great service and food!! Absolutely happy. For us it was the first time we ate food like this and we were pleasantly surprised. They made us feel so welcome and introduced us to a lot of new dishes (7 course meal). We will definitely go again. Thanks for the nice evening!
I had two great meals at Restaurant Moldavië. The food was authentic Romanian, fresh and good quality. The service provided by Mihaela was excellent. 1 minute walk from the tram stop and well worth the ride from the city centre.
Very well cooked Romanian food. You can try authentic recipes, like tripe soup or cabbage rolls filled with meat. Portions are big, given that the food is on the heavy side. The owner was welcoming, offering us a drink to start with, on the house. Go on a rainy cold day, with an appetite, and you will not be disappointed. Tip: try the dessert called "papanasi". Suggestion: music was slightly too loud, and a bit irritating at moments. Nevertheless, a place to try!

Called the restaurant on a Wednesday to confirm the schedule for the coming Sunday. I gave my name, confirmed the amount of people that would come, thus making a proper reservation! On Sunday I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation time (which was at 18) only to discover the entire restaurant was closed (suppose to be opened from 17)....no paper in the windows explaining the reason why it is closed, even dough they also have a visible schedule displayed by the door. Tried to call several time, but I could get no one on the line. Imagine the fact that I have invited a lot of dutch friends (mostly seniors) to come and taste some romanian traditional food, only to call everyone back and tell them it is now canceled, also on a very worst weather possible. Once again "our typical romanian style" was shown to the western world.
Nice place with more opportunities than only dining. For example as well rent to have birthday party with family.
