I have a mix experience visiting Seiko Amsterdam. The first visit was exceptional: the employee was knowledgeable and we talked for quite some time even though I didn't buy anything. The second visit was meh: I could feel that he actually not interested in serving me as I could not feel the enthusiasm when I tried to talk with him.
Went in with a simple request of a quote for a new strap for my Seiko Prospex Padi Edition. Wasn’t taken seriously by the gentleman working there. I kindly asked for assistance after waiting for him to finish having a discussion with a different client for about 15 minutes. His attitude was demeaning and unhelpful. Seiko should be ashamed to have such bad representation of their brand. Myself and my family are lifelong Seiko lovers. Much better service in other cities. Avoid!
Went there to try on a Grand Seiko Snowflake. Staff was really friendly and helpful. He explained me how my 'dream watch' operates. Got to try it on and will definitely come back another time to actually buy it!
Today I visited the boutique to be informed about a matter of warranty regarding my mallfunctioning watch. The store was nice and clean, the watch could be sent back to the factory for a checkup eventually, but only the man standing behind the counter didn't really seem to be as interested in my seiko watch as he should be.
