Very nice, quick and honest service! I highly recommend it. The lady fixed my gears - not an easy task ... when I came back after 2 weeks she was very honest and told me if this happen again I should get new bike. She did great job, took fair price and gave good advice

I’m not get used to leave the reviews without asking for that but the service and quality of the work that I got from Brenda couldn’t allow me to remain indifferent. The best service in the Netherlands so far for me. Affordable price. I requested for the bicycle repair (the difficult part with the gears) and I got it ready in 2 hours just and for the price 3x cheaper than was requested in another bike repair spot ! Brenda is a very honest nice positive and kind person. I have already recommended this place to all my friends and will be always coming to Brenda with any of my bike issues. Thanks a lot!

I recommend Solid to everyone! A quirky, generally friendly local business with an emphasis on good and cheap service. Brenda is amazing - Paul is new and pretty cool too. The service is really good especially considering that this is Amsterdam where good service is generally rare. Solid focusses on doing repairs as cheaply as possible for the customer, sometimes that is not the best way to go with a bike, especially if something just needs to be replaced and it will be expensive. My partner asked for a new cable and needed some other specialist work doing. he asked/told them specifically what was needed and they did a 'make do and mend' which as he cycles to work every day was pointless. He ended up doing it himself and refuses to go back. I don't want to do my bike myself and whatever they do is better than I could do, so I am very happy and will continue to use them. They go out of their way, spending a lot of time and energy for which they often say 'just put a euro or so in the piggy bank'! I love it, have only had the best service sometimes you have to wait a bit while Brenda is chatting. Sometimes it is so busy she can barely lift her head to speak. There is a new lady helping in the shop who is very precise and also very protective of Brenda - which is quite nice, if sometimes a wee bit irritating.
