This is brilliant pub that offers really tasty food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Irish Breakfast is especially good and is big enough to share between two. The outdoor seating offers an excellent view of the square and is perfect for people watching. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Disappointing We stopped for some beer and an afternoon snack. The service was nice and fast at first. Then, however, they messed up the ordered beer. We Ordered 2 different beers but they brought 2 of the same kind. This wasn't too bad, as we both like the served beer. But then they messed up our food as well. At some point the bar got relatively busy and everybody that arrived later than us received their food. We wanted to ask, if our food was coming soon, but We couldn't get the waitresses attention and kept waiting. The male server seemed drunk or at leased bouncy while the female waitresses seemed overwhelmed. When she finally came to us, she said that our order wasn't put it in the System (we ordered with the guy) and she asked if we still want it. Since she didn't even say that she was sorry for the mess up or seemed to Care at all, we asked for the Bill. When she brought the bill and we paid she finally said that she was Sorry, but still didn't really seem to care. All in all we would not go there again. There are way better Pubs in Amsterdam with more motivated service.

Felt like a safe environment, nice collection of beer, and scent spread of food/starters. They did not have many options in non-alcoholic beverages, but that might be just the case for today. Overall nice experience.

This place really stood out for me. Little extra touches like having little blankets on the back of the chairs in case I got cold, or just having incredibly attentive and personable wait staff made this place special. The food and drink was delicious (it really was some of the best curry I have ever had), and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Also, the location is absolutely perfect for people watching. You really can't go wrong here.

Food was good, I had lamb cutlets, my wife had cottage pie. She said it was the best she ever had. Service was good and we were lucky to visit when the place was fairly quiet and so enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere. Decor was a little drab, which isn't a problem for a pub meal, however it was a little pricier than we would normally pay in a pub
