The Arcade Hotel Reviews | Rating 4 out of 5 stars (8 reviews)

The Arcade Hotel is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Sarphatipark 106. The Arcade Hotel is rated 4 out of 5 in the category hospitality in Netherlands. Does anybody need a Video Game hotel? That is not for us to say. But yes definitely! Playing is deeply rooted in human DNA and what better way of bringing people together than by play? Also, it might have been a really good excuse to fill our hotel up with every video game and console we can lay our hands on from "Pong" to whatever the future might bring... All our rooms are equipped with an NVIDIA Shield TV and a retro console. Then there's the Game Room in the lobby with six high-end gaming PCs, VR gaming and all modern consoles to choose from. And the retro consoles in our lobby. Aaand our comic book library with over 2000 titles to choose from. last but not least a fully stocked bar to keep you hydrated. Not to mention the nicest staff north of the south pole. Find us in the loveliest of all Amsterdam neighborhoods "De Pijp". And be sure to book direct with us on our website.

SUPER HOTEL! I was here with my son, who likes gaming. He was SUPER enthousiastic! If you are into gaming, then this is THE place to stay while in Amsterdam! A big collection of oldskool and new games, own consoles in your room, ... and MUCH more. About the room: spacious, clean, really comfortable beds and a large bathroom with rain shower and RGB lighting. Great views on the Sarpathipark, super friendly staff and a more then complete breakfast. For gaming and Star Wars fans a must and for others still a very good option. ️️️️️

Be careful !! We booked 6 rooms in this hotel for a trip planned last April (2020) Further to COVID situation they closed the hotel and never refunded our money Since last April we keep calling and emailing first they said they will refund us in October. When we reached back in October they post poned our refund to January 2021. But now They just don’t reply to our emails nor phone calls anymore and kept over 2000 from us We feel robbed and our insurance cannot even refund the money because the hotel never wrote to us back to say that they will not refund us so the insurance cannot apply We explained our personal situation : we have a baby we have been very impacted at a personal and professional level by COVID so we really need this money for our family we cannot afford to lose so much money but they don’t care ...

The hotel is a really cool theme-based staying place. You’ll get some video game in your room too, and nice smart TV. The elevator is also a very special experience. Staffs are really friendly if you need any help. You could also print out your boarding pass at the front desk. The only disadvantage to mention is that the sound-proofing is not very good.

The best hotel for gamers! Very clean and comfy, you get one random retro console in your room and can check out 2 games at a time. For 10 you get unlimited use of the game room (1 hour free to try it out).Great selection of games to play! The usual breakfast spread, better to wake up early because it's slim pickings later. Staff are all super friendly and helpful (they all spoke perfect English). Bonus points for the cute cat that hangs around in the garden

Cool gaming themed hotel. Its a lil off the main street but affordable and its right in front of a small pond park. Great for early morning walks. Rooms are decent, clean and tidy. Here some pictures of the street around the hotel.

I really liked the concept for this hotel: Arcade gaming. There is a separate game room, where you can play for the first hour free. There also is a retro console (Nintendo) and a NVidia Shield unit. However, the Internet connection was super bad that I couldn't play the NVidia Shield. The room is quiet small, but caters the requirement. Maybe the double rooms are bigger. One thing I hate was the windows were not sound proof or even reducing. The hotel faces a main street and it was super hard to sleep. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was okayish for 10.
