A lovely little place in Amsterdam to visit for Dutch Pancakes and Dutch Waffles. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the lady that served us was pretty funny. The place itself is really small so it got quite crammed when it was busier. The wait for food wasn’t too long and it came out really fresh. I had the Dutch Waffle with Chocolate Sauce, Fresh Strawberries and Vanilla Ice-Cream and my boyfriend had the same but with Caramel Sauce. The waffle itself was nicely cooked and the strawberries were fresh and sweet. The waffle was delicious but I wouldn’t say it was stand-out amazing. Overall I did like The Happy Pig Pancake Shop but I probably wouldn’t go back as I do feel there are better places out there. Nonetheless though it was a nice little place and I did like it.
Amazingly delicious crepe style pancakes. We had the savoury special and sweet (strawberries and ice cream). Perfect combination if you are with your loved one and can share.
Delightful place for Dutch pancakes, lots of options for flavours. The house made sauces are amazing, definitely worth a try, especially the cilantro hot sauce. Quick service, though not a lot of places to sit, but can easily eat outside or stand up to eat. Great staff too!
A very nice dessert shop which had a lot of choices generally but not for Vegans. You can get a pan cache with chocolate sauce and fruit, bits about it. No waffles are vegan. Would still go because it's lovely, just not exactly a Vegan haven.
