The food was absolutely delicious & it reminded me so much of back Home in India. It took me right back to South India, Home away from home.The dishes were packed nicely & the quantity was amazing. Very authentic food & the best I have had so far in The Netherlands! Thank you very much for your lovely platter & hopefully we’ll see you sometime in Amsterdam. In this picture, you'll see some of the dishes and it was not even all of them. So we enjoyed this platter, the next day too!

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! In 4 years, this is the most moved I have been by food, to finally finally find the familiar & authentic taste of India. And that too the south, having spent so many years in Bangalore it was like a homecoming of sorts. Thank you folks & can't wait to dine in person.

This place is not only the relative best in Netherlands but I will go as far to say that it is probably the absolute best in Indian places I have tried outside of India at least (maybe also match it). Quality is top notch and in my opinion showcases the REAL TASTE OF INDIA. This place gives me hope. I hope we see more such places (this and the likes of Dishoom, London) flourishing in Amsterdam and around real soon. I just cant stop ordering from here.

Just had a wonderful evening with the delicious south indian food from The Madras Diaries. It was very fresh and flavorful. I have tried other indian restaurants in Amsterdam but there is no comparison in the taste. I give this place a major thumbs up and recommend that you try it.

Fantastic Indian restaurant. Best in town. I love all of their dishes. But in love with their Dal Makhani and great tandoori. I have not had their Dosa’s yet. But planning to try in person when the restaurant opens.

Best Southern Indian food in Amsterdam! I gave up on ordering Indian food in Amsterdam before this restaurant came along. For some reason, the food is always sweet and/or starchy in other restaurants. I grew up with Malaysian Southern Indian food and that's not at all what I know about Southern Indian food. The moment I tried the food from Madras Diaries, I knew this place is different. All the smells, colours, textures and tastes are familiar to me. The food is very fresh and the owner cares about food pairing; an experience I've never had before with any restaurant in Amsterdam. The service is top notch and I'm looking forward to dining in the restaurant when it's allowed.

One of the best restaurant for authentic South Indian food in Amsterdam. Overall the food is really flavourful in terms of South Indian cuisine. The ghee roast is a must try. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. I must say the service was one of a kind! Eco friendly take away bags is a delightful touch I must say. Well done team the madras diaries
