I went to this restaurant to try out Surinamese food for the first time. I don't speak Dutch and all the menu was in Dutch but the server was super nice and fluent in English that she helped me out with what to order. In the end, I got the surinamese bowl with pom and I loved it so much! Also if you are into spicy food, get the extra spicy sauce! It is so good! I highly recommend this place.

Best best best food! Such a nice little neighborhood restaurant, where people keep coming in for takeout and greeting everyone who's inside. The atmosphere really is amazing. As are the people that work there, who make a chat with everyone. Have many delicious vegan options!
More expensive than an average Suri Toko. E.g. A Roti Chicken is a special and only available on Saterdays 12.50 (normally this cost 6-7). But very friendly and clean place. The food is made with love and very tasteful, but a bit too expensive compared to peers.
Excellent, authentic food and super friendly people! A great selection of delicious Surinamese specialties including hard-to-find items like bitter melon. Obviously try the pom, but don't miss the spicy chicken!
