Door vallen en opstaan deden toomlers als Joan Rivers, Mel Brooks en Danny Kaye de ervaring op die als basis diende voor hun verdere carrière. Won't comment on the stand up part as this is very subjective but OMG... Those burgers were horrible. 15 is already in the high end spectrum of gourmet burgers but I would've rather eaten a Happy Meal (at least it comes with a nice surprise) Oh the fries... If the Dutch can cook something are fries. That's it. But at Toomler they failed even to fry potatoes. When we nicely complain to the waitress she just said \too bad\... Standard Dutch service. No surprise here. Summarizing: come and enjoy stand up comedy. Eat elsewhere.

The Open Podium never fails! Great female host and staff. All are very friendly and keep a good balance of service during the stand-ups! A perfect place to have a great laugh

Pretty funny night all together. Everything is Dutch spoken and seat reservations for the weekend need to be done well in advance. Between the acts the music from the speakers was a bit loud but the comedians could be heard loud and clear. Eventhough we sat way back from the stage in the back of the room.

Love the atmosphere. The stage is only a few metres from the performers so it's a really nice intimate vibe.
