This was a very nice neighborhood bar near the Hyatt Regency that we stayed at. I initially visited this bar upon the recommendation of a Thrillist article of top bars in Amsterdam. I wasn't disappointed. There was a decent selection of beers and the food that I ordered was tasty too. It was a nice day so most people were sitting outside. But, the inside of this bar is also very nice. If had more time on this trip, I'd visit the bar again for the ambiance and laid back atmosphere.

Great terrace to enjoy while watching the Amstel traffic. Good waiters, cold beers and a diverse menu make Lempicka worth a visit.

Very pleasant bar located by the Amstel canal. A bit out of the main tourist paths so you should have the opportunity to meet real Amsterdamers here. The bar is divided into two areas - the first one with typical food menu and the other one with drinks and snacks. You can seat either inside or outside. Usually the bar is very busy in the evening and at night - in particular the drinking area.
