Every time I visit Ecomare I'm having a good time. Their expositions about the sea and local wildlife are educational and fun and the animals they have on display are always nice to see. They have animals who live in the sea surrounding the island, like seals, seebirds and fish. The have species you don't see in other zoo's like Ringed seal and Harbor porpoise (which can be seen under water). During feeding hours the caretakers give information about the animals. A downside is that the exhibits for the seals and porpoise are a little bit small. They also have a rescue center for birds and seal which you can also visit. Entrance to the park is 13,75 (2020) and in my opinion that is not a lot for what you get!

Very nice and educational place to visit close to a popular beach spot (Post 17). Very friendly staff. Decent food/snacks, definitely didn't come here for the food. Best wishes for everyone here, including the sweet babies and other recovering animals

Very nice place. There are several seals that are well looked after and aquariums with a variety of fish.

Nice place to take kids. Plenty to see and interact with. Information displays are in Dutch, English and German. The seals are very playful and fun to see.

Very nice place where a lot of rescued animals find a shelter and get cured. A big thank to all the people who work here and take care of these animals. I did not like the small aquariums where some fishes are kept.
