Very interesting who PLECHELMUS in fact was. The connection with Oldenzaal with it’s second tallest church in The Netherlands and also the relation to the Dom in Roermond. It turnes out that he was eventually buried there. Furthermore it has a wonderful vicar house with a beautiful garden which is vey well taken care of. Also the buriel place is very beautiful, although not everyone logically is fond of those mostly wonderful old gardens. Especially the Second World War Heroes graves are very well taken care of. Of course out of respect to our Liberators! @Instagram @75YearsOfLiberation

Wat is het toch een markante kerk: onze Plechelmuskathedraal!!! Een landmark voor Oldenzaal!! Vanuit elke hoek van het Boeskoolstadje is de toren van de oalde Grieze te zien en leidt hij ons naar het gezellige centrum van het Bourgondische centrum van Oldenzaal.
