I love this café near the city centre of Delft. Their food is well prepared, I can't get 'enough of the croquettes bitterballen. The staff is lovely, they have tables outside in case of sunny days. It is worth the small break after a tour of Delft

So happy to discover their delicious take away menu: hot chocolate, coffee, soup, oliebollen and more.

Eetcafe 't Walletje was a great place for dinner during my visit to Delft. The restaurant is small and very cozy. I would recommend making reservations if visiting on a holiday or busy weekend. Starter course was a plate of Norwegian smoked salmon and goat cheese with honey. Both were stellar. For main course, the filet and roasted chicken were both spectacular. The filet came with a great mushroom sauce and tasty roasted vegetables, as well as perfectly made fries. The chicken was savory and flavorful. Dessert was apple pie that was very good. Best of all, everything was very reasonably priced given the quality of the food. Their menu is diverse, and I want to go back and try more dishes!

On a cold, rainy sunday morning, this is the best place get in balance and get energized. The cafe has a great loungy ambiance with atmospheric (almost romantic) lighting. Jazzy music plays softly in the background. The service is great and the prices are more than reasonable. We had a Chai latte with oat milk and a Latte. Both passed the spoon test as the foam was thick and creamy. The taste of the Chai was spicy with a nutty aftertaste. The thick creamy top of the latte made an excellent latte experience. Expertly made. With our drinks we had a carrotcake. Not too sweet and well balanced and we loved the caramelised wallnuts on top that were lightly roasted.

Went to have dinner at 't Walletje, the beverages were ok but the burger has been so raw I heard a distant moh, like It was literally bleeding. They tried to cook it through after pointing out, jet the ground meet was still flesh-colored inside. Maybe the cook had a bad day. The standard salad wasn't much of a joy either, sugary souce of chicken coating the not too versatile plate filled with two slices of cucumber one cut cherry tomato on a mountain (!) of iceberg lettuce. Couldn't finish either of both.. The service was friendly, though
