I’m really grateful for the tip off from a friend that said I had to come here. Ive travelled to Java and Bali many times and eating here brought back some fond memories. Authenticity is on point, with considered presentation & lots of ‘bumbu’. No pretentious fuss, just the right balance of care. Main courses were laid out with all the right toppings, crackers and sauces. Everything was cooked perfectly, especially the cod fish with spicy sauce. Pro Tip- take your fish off the candle heater plate to avoid it firming up too much (or spoon it onto your plate) unlike I forgot to do! If I’m in the area again I’ll be sure to be back and meet the friendly hosts again.
Great food, nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff is very friendly too. I do think that the toilets need renovating.
Good vegetarian menu, nearly all vegan (egg in a couple of dishes). Tasty.
Authentic Indonesian food wit h excellent service. Highly recommended.
